At the start of the battle...

Lady Sparks: Welcome trainer! For I am the Rainbow Region's Electric Gym Leader. Get ready for this battle is going to electrify you! Electric pokemon are the strongest ready to electrocute you!

Sarah: =_= Oh god sometimes I can't handle Gym Leader's puns.

Lady Sparks: What did you say?

Sarah: Oh nothing, oh wait...did you say Electric pokemon are the strongest? I object that, they're-

Lady Sparks: HOW DARE YOU SAY THAT!? I'LL PROVE YOU WRONG!

Sarah: Ok then I was going to say your moves won't have any effect on ground pokemon but sure let's do it.

At the end of the battle Lady Sparks and Sarah argue how Sarah cheated by getting Everett to distract her but Everett did it after the victorious battle. Even if they had to do a rematch Sarah will still win since all her pokemon's moves are electric ones and have no affect on her Baltoy.
